The most important use of POZZOLAN is in the Cement Industry as it reduces the need of cement usage up to (40%); reducing the cost of cement manufacturing, the cement’s permeability and increasing the cement’s chemical resistance to pure and ulfuric water. POZZOLAN is also used as a substitute for fly ash. POZZOLAN can be cut to manufacture POZZOLAN bricks, characterized by their insulation of sound and heat. When blended with ZEOLITE, POZZOLAN is used in agriculture.
